Cala Torta – Arta

Although there are enough natural, hidden beaches in this small area to see any sun-worshipper through the week (Cala Estreta, Cala Matzoc, Sa Font Salada and Arenalet des Verge to name a few), out of all of them we selected Cala Torta as it has the largest expanse of soft white sand lapped invitingly by the beautifully clear Med.

Here you can truly feel at one with nature (it’s very popular with nudists)...apart from the fact you will have had to use a 4-wheel drive to get to it! Completely undeveloped there is only a small ‘kiosko’ beach bar selling snacks and no shade so go prepared.

Facilities:
only a small ‘kiosko’ beach bar

How do I get there? Get on the road from Arta and turn left towards Capdepera (signposted) at the petrol station. Pass the football ground and (at approx 9km) turn right onto a private road which will turn into a rough track (hence the 4x4). Travel for approx. 1.5km and you will reach the beach.
