Es Trenc – Salobrar en Campos

If holiday dreams are made of sparkling white sandy beaches lapped by turquoise waters then Es Trenc won’t disappoint. Soft white sands extend as far as you like and protecting it is a broad expanse of sand dunes.

Its beauty is well known and it’s a popular spot in summer being close to Palma, (particularly at weekends) but if you walk a little way from the car parking area, about 10 minutes, towards either end of the beach, you’ll find it much quieter.

This beach, its woodlands and sand dunes are now protected along with the salt pans close by which are still in use today. This means in the cooler months it is a haven for many migrating birds, so still worth a visit.

Facilities: Sun beds and parasols. Bar. Restaurant. Parking. Unofficial nudist areas.

How do I get there? Follow signs for Colonia de Sant Jordi and then pick up the signs for Es Trenc. There are Pay to park spaces in a field approx 200m from the beach.
