Playa de Muro – Alcúdia

The wonderful 6-mile sweep of white sandy beach of the little resort Playa de Muro is heaven for families. Soft sand that gently slopes into an azure sea with a healthy smattering of bars and restaurants along its length – what more could you want?

Add to that natural protection and shade provided by a line of pine trees and you’re set up for the day!

At one end the beach links up with the resort of Alcúdia and at the other C’an Picafort, so it’s easy to find. There’s plenty of water sports, good facilities and, for bird spotters, it is flanked by the S’Albufera nature park which encompasses the wetlands.

Facilities: Water Sports. Sun beds and parasols. Bars. Restaurants. Parking.

How do I get there? Approach from either Alcúdia bay or C’an Picafort and park at designated spots along its length.
