Alcanada Golf

One of the newest and most talked about courses on Mallorca, Alcanada Golf was opened in 2003 having been designed top class golf architect, Robert Trent Jones Jnr. Signature features like fairway bunkers (58 of them), tough greens with hard-to-read breaks and challenging tee shots have made this one of Mallorca's must-do courses.

The design, of course, wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for a quite spectacular natural environment, set in an unspoiled coastal location with abudant plants, trees and foliage and the Sierra de Levante mountains in the background. Moreover, Alcanada is Mallorca's only course that is directly next to the sea and the proximity means many marine birds and other wild animals can be seen in the area.

With everything that you would demand from a top class course, the best tee times are very much sought after and often difficult to obtain, so advanced planning is advised in order to enjoy the best of this special arena.
