You're looking forward to that well-earned break and to help you along the way we've put together some basic information to help you relax and enjoy your holiday in the full knowledge that you have all the helpful tips and advice our experience can offer.

Much of it is common sense, but in the hustle of organising the bookings, flights and deciding on what outfits to take…it's always useful to remind ourselves of a few facts that we probably all know.

So in the spirit of helping you make the most of your well deserved break take a minute to have a read of the following.

 

Weather in Mallorca

Mallorca's climate is remarkably mild - even in winter the temperature rarely drops under 0º Celsius. Snow is a sensation and can be experienced in the mountain villages, where occasionally they get cut off for a few hours. It usually hits the headlines around the Balearics when that occurs!

Summer in Mallorca is fantastic, miles of sandy beaches and coves, waterparks, water sports, bars restaurants and shows – all perfect when the weather's too hot to do anything else but lounge on the beach or by a pool.

We all know how to behave in our own environment but sometimes when we go on holiday we relax, let our guard down and forget that crime happens everywhere these days.

Suncare

These days everyone knows about the warnings, but it's your holiday and you want to enjoy the sun - so read up on how to sunbathe safely. What follows will simply INFORM you so you know what's what.

Stay healthy

For small health issues, just pop along to a Spanish pharmacist, most speak excellent English and in Spain they are usually visited before the doctor as they can advise you on over the counter treatments you may be able to purchase for your ailment.
