Classical Music Festivals and Annual Concerts in the East of Mallorca
May and June - Musical Spring of Campanet in the Posada de Biniatró, the Sant Miquel Oratory and the church of Campamet; welcome spring with a series of classical concerts aimed at promoting composers resident on the island.
July - Musical Serenades of Cala Ratjada in the house Sa Torre Cega; taking place in the beautiful, sculpture filled gardens of the former house of Bartolome March, this festival of chamber music has seen illustrious performers such as Jacques Loussier in the past.
July and August - Antoni Lliteres Classical Music Festival, Arta Municipal Theatre and Churches; Arta native, Lliteres, a Baroque musician who composed zarzuelas, cantatas and religious works, is honoured in this annual festival.
July to September - Pla de Mallorca Music Festival in churches in the area around Petra; a series of classical concerts in the Mallorca central plain area with the last one taking place in the Monastery of Cura.
