Shows and Spectaculars
As well as the theatres and halls which are a temporary home to touring 'all singing, all dancing' shows like Mamma Mia and Saturday Night Fever, the island of Mallorca also has dedicated night spots where you can dine, take in a show and be thoroughly entertained all evening.
Gran Casino Mallorca – Yes, you can play the tables at the casino and yes, you can dine well in the restaurant
but even better, you can take in a show in the casino's auditorium. Thousands of people have recently enjoyed the Broadway style spectacular, 'Come Fly with me,' the story told in music and dance
of the world's most famous crooner, Frank Sinatra.
Porto Pi Shopping Mall, Palma (since the end of 2010)
Es Fogueró - A superb evening's entertainment for young and old, featuring food, music, dance and
international cabaret. The 500 square metre stage is big enough to hold a plethora of performers making Classical Flamenco dance and routines from the big Broadway shows a joy to behold.
Carretera de S'Aranjassa 10.8 km, near Playa de Palma
Son Amar – Within the 16th century walls of an old Manor House you'll find a variety of 21st century
entertainment in the huge 'Sala Magna' show room. Modern music, classical dance, magic, soul, acrobatics and even horsemanship combine with a choice of different dinner menus to suit all and
provide a fabulous night to remember.
Carretera Soller km 10.8, Palmanyola. (15 minutes from Palma)
Pirates – The swashbuckling Pirates of Magalluf will shiver your timbers in a night of pure fun and amazing
spectacle. Acrobatics, music, gymnastics, dance routines and songs all help Cap'n Morgan's seafaring buccaneers defeat the dastardly French as the sun goes over the yardarm. There's 'Pirate Punch'
for all as the mainbrace is well and truly spliced during dinner in this purpose built theatre seating 950!
Pirates Adventure Theatre. Calle de Gongora, Magalluf.
