Old Spice aftershave
One of the most famous works of 20th century classical music comes to Palma next month when Carl Orff's Carmina Burana is performed in the Auditorium. The German composer set 24 medieval poems written in the 13th century to music and thanks to Old Spice aftershave, one of them 'O Fortuna' is recognised by almost everyone in the western world.
The performance at the Auditorium on 6th October at 22.00 features a choir and musicians numbering 150 strong directed by Fernando Marina, and is a version featuring two pianos which will be enhanced by video projections.
