The Very Best of Black Gospel

If you like your Black American Music with a touch of that old time religion then you'll be pleased to hear that – just in time for Christmas – there are two fantastic concerts of Gospel music in Palma.

Two big – both in number and girth – gospel choirs have included Mallorca on their tours of Europe in December.

On 20th December at 21.00 the Teatro Principal is the scene for the performance by The Spirit of New Orleans Gospel Choir who in the past have worked with Kirk Franklin, Thelma Houston, Bryan Adams and Earth, Wind and Fire and played the famous Monterey Jazz Festival, so they should be good!

A couple of weeks prior to that, The Very Best of Black Gospel perform at Palma Auditorium at 20.30 on 6th December. So named because the band members are some of the best in Gospel music and have worked with the likes of Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder.
