July Concerts: Palma de Mallorca
Rappin' Rascal, Dizzee
The month of July perfectly illustrates the breadth of musical entertainment in and around Palma with a range of concerts covering many different genres of music.
Politically incorrect Mallorcan rockers Crisis give two concerts on 14th and 15th in the Teatro Principal starting at 21.00.
The Long Island Youth Orchestra, comprised of over 100 young musicians, are giving a charity concert at Palma Cathedral on the 8th at 21.30.
Patti Smith and her band will play on the 12th at the Jardins Palau Comtes d’Aiamans in Lloseta at 22.00
Argentinian folk rocker Leon Gieco plays the Sala Assaig on the 11th at 21.30.
Steetwise El Barrio brings his so popular blend of Flamenco pop to the Son Fusteret concert arena on the 16th at 22.00.
Richard Thompson ex-axe-man with Fairport Convention and named as one of the world's top 20 guitarists plays Bellver Castle on the 10th at 20.00
Skinny jeaned indie rockers The Courteneers entertain their looky-likey fans at Mallorca Rocks in Magalluf on 19th at 20.00
Rappin' Rascal, Dizzee, brings his peculiar brand of pidjin English to Majawka Rocks on the 26th at 20.00.
New York power poppers, Nada Surf, grace the stage at Palma's Cultura Club on the 8th from late until late.
David Bisbal, one of Spain's most popular singers will play the bull ring on the 10th at 22.00
Also at the bull ring on the 31st at 22.00 are The Cranberries in a change of venue from originally reported.
There must be something for everyone on this list. Enjoy.
