Mallorca in Europe
8 wins on the bounce
Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Mallorca. No it's not a travel itinerary, it's the Spanish first division where Mallorca are in 4th place, right up there with the giants of football.
Their 2 -0 home win last Sunday over Deportivo put them in the frame for a place in Europe next season. The Ono stadium (Son Moix) here in Palma really has become a Red Fortress as the lads have clocked up 8 wins on the bounce in front of ecstatic home supporters.
They're at home again tomorrow for the quarter final of the cup against Getafe at 20.00 and on Sunday resume La Liga activity in Barcelona against Espanyol at 17.00. Come on you Reds!
