Dance Mallorca: Pacha for Palmanova

throngs of young British holidaymakers

The world famous disco brand Pacha is making a reappearance on Mallorca. There are plans to open a new franchise in Palma Nova next June which will occupy the Ses Forquetes/Gallery Club premises in Calle Cordoba.

The owners say that the new disco has all the necessary licenses, will be open all year, and like the parent club in Ibiza, will have apart of the Main Room a 'Funky Room,' 'Pachacha,' and a Mediterranean/Japanese fusion restaurant.

The location of the new disco is seen by come as a good call, given its proximity to Magaluf and its throngs of young British holidaymakers, and by others as a potential trouble spot. It's in a residential area occupied by many working families who are already concerned about noise and crowds in the middle of the night.

This is the second bite of the cherry for Pacha franchise in Mallorca. The first one, in Palma, had to change its name in 2006 – it's now Abraxas – when the Pacha brand were unhappy with the way it was managed.
