World Music in the Caixaforum
superb modernist building 
Palma's Caixaforum, which is probably more familiar to readers as an art gallery is also home to musical concerts. This superb modernist building which was once Palma's Gran Hotel has a season of World Music starting next week.
All the concerts have
start at 20.00 and cost a very reasonable €4
Commencing on 8th of February with the Eva Quartet from Bulgaria, the season consists of three concerts, the second of which features Mamadou Diabaté from Mali (photo) on March 15th. The final concert is by Istanbul Sazendeleri from Turkey on April 8th.
