New Wedding Tax
Bugeration Factor
The town council of the small town of Buger in Mallorca are about to increase the price of civil weddings celebrated there. They're slapping an extra €100 tax on the cost to pay for the cleaning up after the rice has been thrown and petals scattered on the floor outside the town hall!
However there is a small caveat to the new tax, which may or may not become known as the Bugeration Factor, and that's a 50% discount if both bride and groom are officially registered as Buger residents, although €50 for sweeping up a bit of rice does still sound expensive?
