Green Light for Bicipalma

tourists will be able to use the bikes

Palma's bike lending scheme which is currently undergoing a trial period with free use is to go live from this March. From then on members of the scheme will be able to collect and return the bikes from the city's 28 bike stations for a cost of 'less than €30 a year,' says Palma Mobility Counsellor Gabriel Vallejo.

Even better news is that he also added that tourists in town for short periods would also be able to use the bikes but no details have yet been released on the logistics of this, but it seems likely that a voucher valid for either a short period or small number of journeys could be issued.
