Sa Coma, Mallorca - a sweep of pure white sand
If you can see a sweep of pure white sand, lapped by sapphire waters and backed by a promenade lined with palm trees leading to lush countryside you will have found yourself in the modern resort of Sa Coma.
This resort is purpose built and started to be developed in the 80’s, but don’t let that put you off. The planners have designed it extremely well giving plenty of breathing space with many green zones, a wide promenade and pedestrianised streets all ensuring it’s a relaxing place to be.
Popular with the British holidaymakers it has a wide selection of restaurants; both traditional and international. Evenings tend to be a quiet affair more suited to couples and families. Much of the entertainment is hotel based.
Mini-Golfers will be in 7th heaven with the facilities offered by The Golf Paradis complex. Here there are three 18-hole mini-golf courses set within beautifully landscaped gardens. The cost to play a round of golf is quite reasonable and it's easy to spend quite a few hours there.
Also close by is the Auto Safari Zoo an attraction much loved by families. Cars can be driven through the parkland but much more fun is the mini train that runs regularly through the zoo. A courtesy bus operates from nearby resorts.
