One of Palma's coolest districts – Santa Catalina – has its very own tapa route every Thursday afternoon and evening. Not long ago,we highlighted the "/news/2010/martian_chronicles_190810.htm">Martian Route every Tuesday in Sa Gerreria, Palma's equivalent of New York's SoHo, now it's the turn of the Barrio just west of the 'river.'
Sixteen bars have got together in a scheme called Santa Catapintxos to provide tiny tapas and pintxos with a drink for a mere €2! It's extremely economical and a great way to sample the food in
these bars in readiness for a full meal there.
Here's a link to a map of the bars – Santa Catapintxos Map – which are all close together in this
old former fishing village.
