Spain on a Plate

The cuisine in Spain really does vary enormously from region to region

The cuisine in Spain really does vary enormously from region to region and if you're lucky enough to be in Palma over the next few days you can sample the excellent gastronomy of six different
areas all in one place.

The association of bars and restaurants in Palma's Lonja area in the old town are holding three 'gastronomy days' in the narrow, atmospheric streets from tomorrow 24th until Saturday 26th from
19.00 until midnight each night.

Forty restaurants will be serving typical food and wine as well as a hefty dose of regional culture and music! Each eaterie will offer one dish which means that punters can sample more than one
type of cuisine throughout the evening.

It'll be possible to 'tour' Spain in a short time as each region will be based in its own street: Asturias (c/ Vallseca): Castilla y León (c/ Sant Joan): Galicia (c/ Apuntadors): Murcia (c/ Llotja
del Mar): País Vasco (c/ Jaume Ferrer): and Valencia (c/Boteria).

What a great idea!
