The Christmas fun doesn't stop in Spain just because it's January
The Christmas fun doesn't stop in Spain just because it's January. Here we celebrate Epiphany (the 12th ay of Christmas) with a public holiday on 6th January and a spectacular parade re-enacting
the arrival of the Three Kings from the east in Bethlehem.
In Palma the parade takes place on the evening of the 5th of January, leaving the Moll Vell at 18.00 and makes its way round the streets of the city to the town hall. This year there will be 16
floats and around 400 people participating in the procession when there'll be around 3500 kilos of sweets thrown out to the watching crowds!
It's great fun for young and old with music, singing, dancing and of course a great competition to cram as many sweets as possible into everyone's pockets. Don't miss this great free show!
