Part of the Easter celebrations in the Mallorcan town of Felanitx will be a 'Roman Market' in the town centre. Let's face it, the might of imperial Rome played a major part in the death of Christ,
so why not include some of their nicer customs like 'sacrifice by fire' or the 'sale of slaves' help celebrate Christ's resurrection.
The market takes place from the 4th to the 7th of April and features lots of stalls and daily sessions of falconry as well as street parades including a dash of comic tomfoolery, Roman style, to
keep everybody amused.
So, what have the Romans ever done for us?
