What? Let me explain.... the cool Palma eaterie, Patron Lunares, situated in Santa Catalina and featured in a plethora of style and design magazines, has a special Saturday morning planned for
Patron patrons!

The event's name Berebrunch is a portmanteau of two words; Berenar – to have breakfast in Catalan, and Brunch, itself a portmanteau of breakfast and lunch, coined by Punch magazine in Britain in
the 1890's.

It's basically a good old excuse to eat, drink and be merry on the best day of the week and will take place on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th (and 5th if there is one) Saturday of every month.

From 11.30 you can enjoy a three course meal which starts like breakfast with coffee, fruit juice, ensaimadas and toasted bread, tomatoes, ham and cheese, and moves on to be more like a very liquid
lunch. This Saturday has squid, fried eggs and chips with some exotic additions and includes for €20 per person; a bottle of wine or a jug of daiquiri or a bucket of 4 Heinekens!

But it doesn't end there, because there's live music and entertainment on throughout – this week it's Els Arrablers, all the way from Mallorca!

If you fancy something a little different on a lazy Saturday, Patron Lunares is on Calle Fabrica in Santa Catalina. Reservations on 971 577 154
