Sightseeing Bus Fare Up?

It looks like the price of tickets for the Sightseeing Bus which takes tourists on tours around Palma will increase. The company which runs the service, City Sightseeing, has applied to the town
hall to increase the cost of tickets by 16% because of the rise in inflation and the cost of fuel.

If sanctioned, it means that an adult ticket bought local will rise from €15 to €18 from April. It's still quite good value – the ticket is valid for 24 hours during which passengers can hop on and
off anywhere they like - and is comparable to bus tours in other cities throughout Europe.

The bus tour lasts 80 minutes and takes in all the main monuments and buildings of Palma and includes a multi-lingual audio guide along the journey. The vast majority of the 200,000 passengers a
year– many of them from cruise ships – are German (30%), British (30%), Spanish (15%) and Italian (10%).

The good news is that tickets can be bought at a discount from City Sightseeing's
website!
