Mallorca Chefs help the Philippines

Mallorca's top chefs will be doing their bit to help with the terrible destruction and aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan

Mallorca's top chefs will be doing their bit to help with the terrible destruction and aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines by taking part in a “Show Cooking Lunch” on 24th November.

The venue is the relatively new Hotel Castell Son Claret, a beautifully restored manor house in the peace, quiet
and utter tranquillity of Capdella near the Tramuntana Mountains. Starting at 13.00 the charity lunch will comprise specially prepared and completely new dishes by each of the top ten chefs -
Fernando Pérez Arellano, Santi Taura, Marc Fosh, Gerard Swaigner, Andreu Genestra, María Solivellas, Tomeu Martí, Igor Rodríguez, Tomeu Caldentey and  Jaume Oliver.

Lucky old Fernando Pérez Arellano, pictured here on the left with his team, won't have to travel very far because he's head chef of the hotel's Michelin Star rated Zaranda restaurant which has won
numerous accolades, amongst them 'best restaurant' and 'chef of the year' and will provide a fitting backdrop for the occasion.

So, if you'd like to enjoy some of the best food in Mallorca and contribute to an extremely worthy cause, the cost of the meal is €125 and reservations can be made by calling Carol Keilich at the
hotel on 971 138 620
