The elegant rooms and terraces of the St. Regis Mardavall Hotel will once again play host to Mallorca's premier gastronomic event of the year. The fourth Mallorca Grand Gourmet Award will take
place there on Thursday 19th October and promises to be as good as, if not better than the previous three!
This year the fabulous feast will be prepared by seven of Mallorca's top chefs, ably assisted by the kitchen team from the hotel, and each will prepare one of their unique culinary creations for an
eager audience of epicureans. The island's top restaurants are represented by;
María Solivellas, Restaurant Ca na Toneta, Caimari
Tomeu Caldentey, Restaurant Es Moli d’en Bou, Sa Coma
Macarena de Castro, Michelin Star Restaurant Jardin, Puerto de Alcúdia, Mallorca
Benito Vicens, Restaurant Bens d’Avall and Bens d’Avall Club de Mar
Fernando Pérez Arellano, Restaurant Zaranda at Castell Son Claret, Es Capdellá
Marc Fosh, Restaurants Simply Fosh, Tasca de Blanquerna, & Misa Braseria
Victor García, Restaurant La Fortaleza, Hotel Cap Rocat
and with a line up like that, dishes such as moray eel with crispy skin, red wine juice and horseradish, mussels from Menorca and beef tenderloin-ox tail or cannelloni with pork, duck and wild
mushrooms should be perfection on a plate!
As in the past, Grand Gourmet IV is a complete evening, with relaxing live music from Bobby Alexander, and a 'food trail' through the hotel, beginning at 19.00 with Champagne and amuse bouche on
the Es Vent terrace and moving toward the grand ballroom for the main event.
