The town of Alcudia's annual Jazz festival just seems to grow and grow.
The town of Alcudia's annual Jazz festival just seems to grow and grow. Traditionally held throughout the month of September, this year they've sneaked in an extra date tomorrow when Andrea Motis
and Joan Chamorro present their new album 'Feeling Good,' at Alcudia Auditorium. Starting at 22.00 it'll cost €15 on the door to get but is well worth it as Andrea has a wonderful Jazz voice!
There's a break until the end of August when Virginia Labuat sings in a free concert on the Paseo Maritimo at the Port of Alcudia starting at 22.00. From then on the concerts will be held at 22.00
in the Auditorium each Saturday in September, all at 22.00. Here's the line up with the 'pay on the door' price;
7th – Cap Pela present Soul Jazz – €12
14th – Jaume Vilaseca Quartet i Ravi Chari – €22
21st – Sílvia Pérez Cruz i Javier Colina – €20
28th – Joe Pisto & Ignasi Terraza Trio – €18
The concert on the 14th looks really interesting because of the presence of sitar player Ravi Chari who brings and Indian influence to the piano based Jazz of Jaume Vilaseca – take a look.
