Here's Spotlight's update on a couple of news stories we've run and some new news!
Palma will have a new craft market on the Paseo de Mallorca during the summer months. 55 stalls will be located by the Riera torrent near to the Jaime III intersection and will sell ceramics,
leather, jewellery, glass and wooden goods and more. Open form Thursday to Sunday, 19.00 to 24.00, it starts on 8th May until 28th September.
Mallorca airport is now open for the summer season and ready to welcome millions of visitors to the island. If you
remember, one of the airport's terminals was mothballed during the winter to save money on running costs as passenger numbers dip considerably in this period. Now, all four terminals are fully
operational until next winter.
The license has been granted to convert an old building on Palma's lovely Plaza de San Francisco into a luxury boutique
hotel. The work will cost around €1.5 million because the building is so dilapidated and is being carried out by the owners of "http://www.booking.com/hotel/es/majestic.en-gb.html?aid=1474536">The Majestic Hotel which has an equally enviable position on Barcelona's famous Passeig de Gracia.
