The worlds of Rock and the Classics collide at the Queen musical in Palma
A two hour spectacular musical featuring the songs of Queen played by a cast of 40 is about to hit Palma. The Queen Symphonic Rhapsody show is currently on a tour of Spain and Portugal taking in
all the big cities and calls in at Palma's Auditorium for two nights in November.
The dates are Saturday 22nd at 21.30 and Sunday 23rd at 19.30 with tickets, "http://www.auditoriumpalma.com/espectaculos/?lan=es&sec=espectaculo&id=3077&search=cat%3D5%26subcat%3D" target="_blank">available online, priced at €40 and €45.
The show has been touring annually since 2010 and each year keeps itself fresh by changing personnel, scenery and songs and this year has a symphony orchestra, a rock band and four vocalists with
years of experience. German Rock God Tommy Heart, New Yorker Michelle McCain who has sung with BB King and James Brown, Swedish Eurovision contestant Patrick Lundstrom and Soprano Graciela
Armendariz will be belting out some of Freddie Mercury's best known tunes.
I've scoured the show's website but can't find any mention of the poodle that will double for Brian May's hairstyle during the show but not to worry. It sounds like a great excuse to go along, clap
your hands and join in the songs.
See you there?
