Relive the big band sounds of the glamorous Swing Era in Palma
It's time to dust off your boppin' shoes and Lindy hop down to Palma's Es Baluard museum and relive the golden age of Swing on Saturday night, 29th November. The joint will be jumpin'
and the joint in question is the museum's Aljub, the enormous stone built Moorish water storage 'tank' which is not only fascinating to be in, but also has superb acoustics!
Two of Mallorca's best Swing bands will be taking part in the 'Lee Krasner' Battle of the Bands from 21:00 until gone midnight.

the €10 entry fee goes to the Mallorca Swing Society to promote the music and dance around the island.
What a great way to spend a Saturday night in Palma, doing something just a little out of the ordinary, and yet again another illustration of how diverse the city's nightlife and entertainment
scene is. No wonder The Sunday Times chose to give it a major feature this week (but what a shame the paper is subscription only on the internet!)
