Winter shows in Palma

A great programme of entertainment at Palma Auditorium

Now it's getting a bit chilly in the evenings, it's the best time to spend some time at one of the many and varied shows around Mallorca. I've highlighted just one venue, Palma Auditorium – on the
Paseo Maritimo with fabulous views of the harbour – to illustrate the depth of entertainment on offer over the next couple of months.

The Auditorium is a theatre in the traditional sense but also has smaller spaces and, opened just this year, Le Foyer, and intimate club-like area with informal seating, a bar and a terrace with
those wonderful views over the seafront. It's here where Santana Project, a Santana tribute band, take to the stage on Saturday 8th November at 22:00 for a free concert where entry is by
invitation via social media – just leave a message on the Auditorium's Facebook page.

Then, throughout November and December you can see;

November 22 – Queen Symphonic Rhapsody

November 25-30 – Rent, the hit musical based on la Boheme

November 29 – Almas, a dance spectacular with Flamenco star Aida Gomez (photo)

December 10 – Handel's Messiah with the Orchestra of Cadaqués

December 13 – Orff's Carmina Burana and Beethoven's 9th with the Russian Symphony Orchestra and State Choir

December 3-14 – Mary Shelley's Frankenstein in English with the Morgana Teatre Company

December 21 – Oh Happy Day with the Alabama Gospel Choir

You can see the complete programme and buy tickets on the Auditorium's Webpage if you fancy going along. I must
admit that the idea of sipping a G&T overlooking the harbour on Le Foyer's terrace has appealed to me so I'm just off to hit Fb up for my invite!
