Tracy, Frank and Michael sing and dance their way through August in Palma
Wow, when you think we'd all be taking it easy down at the beach in the hot days of August, Palma Auditorium has some hotter than hot entertainment for us all. They've programmed in three big musical extravaganzas which will leave us dancing in the aisles and singing the songs from the shows for days afterwards!
There's no need for me to say anything more about the first two productions; Hairspray and Rocky Horror Show as you'll probably know more about them than I do, and the third, Moonwalking, is a Michael Jackson showcase featuring all his hit songs and dance routines with a cast of 35 excellent performers.
Hairspray's Tracy Turnblad brings her big hair, big heart and big boss line dance steps to the stage nightly from the 4th to 9th August and tickets are priced at 1962 levels – a mere €20!
Don't forget to dress to impress as we time warp over to cross dressing Frank n Furter's pad for a spot of monster mashing. The Rocky Horror Show plays 14th to 16th August at the Auditorium and again is only €20 a seat.
Finally, the old Thriller himself, Michael Jackson (well somebody who moves and sings just like him) will be 'Moonwalking' from the 19th to 23rd August in a two hour show with all his hits from his career. It'll cost €25 a ticket, well worth it. I'm already practising the zombie dance and humming the tune inspired by our photo.
Fancy going? Here's the Auditorium webpage giving details of the dates, times and prices to book online. See you there?
