Peccata Minuta returns on 29th February
One of Mallorca's best foodie fests returns at the end of the month on the world's only once-every-four-years day. Peccata Minuta (it means little sins) will once again be taking over Palma's Palau Mrch museum and installing seven top chefs from the Balearic Islands who'll be creating a brilliant range of tapas for us all.
Organised by Chefs(in), the association of master chefs on the islands to promote their cuisine and gastronomy, it's a celebration of the public holiday – The Day of the Balearic Islands – which occurs on the following day 1st March, so no worries about getting up early for work!
So, just to confirm the facts; Peccata Minuta is on 29th February at 21:00 in Palau March Museum, in Palma. Tickets have to be bought in advance because the organisers have limited the numbers to make the event comfortable for all. For €30 you get 7 gourmet tapas (one from each chef if you wish) and two drinks, which is good value for the excellent food on offer.
Now you want to know who'll be cooking up a storm;
Joan Marc, JOAN MARC Restaurant (Inca)
Marga Coll, Restaurant Miceli (Selva)
Tomeu Martí, Restaurante Arume (Palma)
Miquel Gelabert, Can march Restaurant (Manacor) Photo
Víctor García, Restaurante La Fortaleza de Cap Rocat Hotel (Llucmajor)
Patrick James, Restaurante Pan y Vino (Sant Lluís)
Miquel Sánchez, Restaurant Smoix (Ciutadella)
whose creations include cuttlefish, duck, cod, pork and crayfish with some unusual and delicious accompaniments.
