Mallorca Fashion Outlet

Big brands at discounted prices

mallorca fashion outlet

I don't know why it is, but when we're on holiday all our inhibitions about spending money seem to disappear and we spend, spend, spend like there's no tomorrow. Now, one of the best places in Mallorca to spend your precious cash, and save a packet with discounted prices whilst increasing your sartorial elegance is, tah-dah, the Mallorca Fashion Outlet.

It's a shopping village, so shops, bars and restaurants are laid out in 'streets' rather than a giant, impersonal mall, and was formerly known as the Festival Park Outlet. Now under newish management, it's been rebranded so we all know what it is – let's face it, Festival Park doesn't give you much idea what went on, does it?

New shops and brands have been added and they all sell their goods at between 30% to 70% discount. You'll find a mix of Spanish brands – Adolfo Dominguez, Camper, Bimba y Lola, and Mango – together with big name international marques like Timberland, Vans, Brooks Brothers, Lacoste and Calvin Klein.

Throw in some handy eateries, games for kids, and indoor Kart track and a cinema and there's something for everybody at the Fashion Outlet. Now, a word of warning/advice; discounted doesn't mean cheap, it means cheaper than normal so don't go expecting to pick up a throwaway outfit for €5.99!

Interested? Mallorca Fashion Outlet is open every day from 10 to 22 and is easy to get to on the outskirts of Palma. There are very frequent trains from Palma to the Es Caulls-Festival Park station, or on the MA13 Palma to Inca motorway take exit 8, Sa Cabaneta/centro comercial turn off.

Here's my tip, go on a really hot sunny day when the place won't be so crowded as all your fellow tourists will be on the beach!
