The food trucks 'roll' into Port Adriano
The crowds will be back at Port Adriano this weekend when it reprises one of its most popular events. The Street Food Festival is back for an eighth time, cementing its reputation as one of the coolest gastro events in the Mallorca calendar which draws thousands of people over the course of the weekend.
It's a winning combination; the chic designer (Philippe Starck) surroundings of Port Adriano with shops, bars, restaurants and millions of Dollars worth of sleek yachts combined with great music, food, and drink at popular prices. Just look at the photo, doesn't it make you want to be there, NOW?
So what happens? Well from Friday 16th June to Sunday 18th, the vintage food trucks and caravans roll into the port's central plaza, laden with reasonably priced fast food designed for the fingers to transform it into street food heaven in the style of Bangkok, or New York or Marrakech. There's a buzz in the air as crowds of happy people mingle, chat, eat, drink and listen to live music.
