Sunset and Vine Night Market

See, buy, eat, drink, dance.

How about a relaxed evening in the Mallorcan countryside where food, drink, music and an artisan market are all laid on plus you get to watch the sun setting behind the Tramuntana Mountains in the distance? Sounds good already, but let me tell you that this all takes place in one of the island's top vineyards in the Binissalem wine producing region!

Called Sunset Vinyart and Foodtrucks, it's a night fair promoted by local artisan Catadeplaceta who has brought together local craftsmen and their market stalls, the meals on wheels chefs of the funky foodtrucks and music courtesy of Oh My Swing in the bucolic surroundings of the Bodegas José L. Ferrer de Binissalem.

It runs from 18:00 until 01:00 on Saturday 8th July and gives us all a chance to browse the stalls which are almost all manned by Mallorca based producers and have some really nice articles for sale; bags, jewellery, hats, carpentry, lights, tshirts and so on. And very nice products they are too, as you can see on the photogallery.

There'll be a good choice for dinner with foodtrucks aplenty offering a choice of starters, mains, desserts coffee and booze, and of course being in a bodega there'll be lashings of wine available! The music starts up at 19:30 with some swinging tunes from a golden age and if you've taken the kids along, there's entertainment laid on for them too.

Put me down for a glass of red, a cupcake and a pair of his'n'hers nautical themed tshirts please!
