A night of wine and song
Here's a great idea from the people at the Fabrica Ramis in Inca – a night of opera, wine and tapas, all together! The Fabrica Ramis is an old factory dating back to 1920, so in a very pleasing architectural style, where textiles and shoes were once produced. As the industry declined the building fell out of use until it was lovingly converted into an events and cultural centre which also houses an excellent restaurant right in the centre of Inca.
On Friday 3rd November they're hosting what they call Opera D.O. Pla i Llevant, a night to promote opera to wine lovers and wine to opera lovers, or just a really good night out if you already like both! From 19:00 until 22:00 you can sample 4 different wines and tapas in a 'maridaje' (wine and food 'married' so they go together like a horse and carriage) whilst listening to some high class music.
Performing will be tenor Antoni Lliteres, soprano Natalia Salom and pianist Andreu Riera whilst a symphony of wines from the denomination of origin Pla i Llevant in Mallorca will accompany the tapas. It's only €20 so well worth the price and if you want to go you can get your tickets online from the Fabrica Ramis, Avda. Colon 28, Inca.
