Elrow x four
Mallorca's biggest, wildest, and wackiest electronic music festival returns for a third mega-successful year in 2020 and hopes to smash last year's 30,000 attendance record this summer.
Crazy Catalan promoters Elrow bring their incredible visual show, decoration, props, and organisational ability in an Ibiza style party that has all the DJ's, vibe (it means atmosphere) and music of the White Island but without the eye-watering, wallet-emptying prices of 'Beefa.'
This year's Origen Fest will take place on four dates over the summer, all at the Son Fusteret pop up showground just on the outskirts of Palma. Not all the line-ups have been finalised yet, but you can be sure that some of the world's top jocks will be on stage there.
The dates are;
Sunday June 7
Sunday July 12
Saturday August 15
Sunday September 6
Now, as its organised by and for young people, who have a lot longer left on the planet than oldies like moi, it's not just about electronic dance music. Fabulous though it is, house and techno won't prevent global warming, the ice caps melting, or chemtrails in the sky.
The Elrow guys aim is to create a responsible experience with the sustainability and care of the planet to the fore by limiting the use of plastic and maximising local products. They're hoping that the broader appeal of the festival this year will have clubbers jetting in from all over Europe to help break last year's attendance figures!
Tickets, and it depends on the date and when you buy, cost around €35 ish per show and then hundreds of Euros more if you want VIP or VVVVVIP and can be bought on line by clicking this link - Origen Fest 2020 tickets
